How we are organized
KINGFO management and organizational structure consists of three crucial parts namely the AGM, the Executive Committee and the Secretariat, each with an important role to play.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The AGM is the supreme decision making body of the organization. It brings together all member organizations to deliberate on policy direction, review progress, and make key organizational decisions.
Executive Committee (EC)
The EC is the policy making organ of the organization. It provides strategic oversight, formulates policies, and ensures that the organization stays aligned with its mission and objectives between AGM sessions.
Secretariat
The Secretariat is the implementing arm of the organization. It handles day-to-day operations, coordinates programs, and manages partnerships with government and development partners.
Guiding policy instruments
The above structures are guided by well-developed policy instruments as they execute their duties:
Strategic Plan
Annual Work and Budget (AWB)
Constitution
Finance and Administration Policy
Human Resource Policy
Intern/Volunteer Policy
Board of Directors Manual
Internal Control System
Member Organizations
The profiling exercise coincided with government efforts at local and national level to validate all NGOs operating in the country thereby attracting their support and express endorsement. Through this exercise KINGFO now holds a thoroughly updated CSO register that promises to aid engagement of CSOs and government MDAs in service delivery.
